Former Radio City Rockette
Heather holds a dance certification in the State of Texas where she graduated with a BFA in Exercise Sports Science and Specialization in Dance. Heather also holds a CFT-II Personal Training certification and is Allegro Pilates Certified. She is a former Radio City Rockette from New York City for the “Radio City Christmas Spectacular", she danced professionally for Jean Ann Ryan Productions for Celebrity Cruise Lines "MV Galaxy" & a Japanese Cruise line "Asuka", "Tournament of Kings" at the Las Vegas Excalibur Hotel & Casino, The Radio City Rockettes at the Las Vegas Flamingo Hilton, "Today Show" with Katie Couric and Mat Lauer for the Radio City Rockettes, "102 Dalmatians" Movie preview at Radio City Muisic Hall NYC, "Biker Chick" in Diamond Rio's "Unbelievable" Music Video, motion capture stunt artist for “Tiberian Sun”, “Renegade”, “Dune” and more. Heather also performed in a Cirque du Soleil hand to hand balancing act in the Radio City Rockette Show in Las Vegas. While in Vegas Heather competed in Ms Fitness where she won the title of Ms Fitness Las Vegas, Ms Fitness West Coast and placed 6th Ms Fitness USA and 12th Ms Fitness World. During her career as a Rockette in New York, Heather became the top Personal Trainer at Bally's Total Fitness where she developed their nutritional program. Through her Fitness ventures she was featured in Oxygen, Ms Fitness and Dance Magazines.
Heather is also an established choreographer and has worked with many professional companies throughout the United States. She started working with Poet Productions in 2010, for Celebrity Cruises, as an independent aerial trapeze trainer during their cast boot camps and teaching choreography to Celebrity casts. She choreographed Celebrity Cruises new cirque style shows "Silhouette" and the "Welcome Aboard" show on Celebrities Silhouette and Reflection's Cirque show called "Reflection" which both won the Gold "Magellan awards" on the seas. She has won many outstanding overall choreography awards not only for her previous studio, but for studios, dance teams and professional shows all over the US. Heather's students have won overall dance awards, scholarships, agency awards and have gone on to pursue scholarships at Layola Marymount in Los Angeles, Go Pro (Top), the Tremaine Apprentice and Company member Program, contestants as seen on "So you think you can dance", "Americas Got Talent", members of the Los Angeles Cirque Academy and participants of the internship at Broadway Dance Center in New York. Heather currently owns O'Hara Dance Agency in Austin TX, where she privately instructs young aspiring dancers in: Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Musical Theater, Acro, Trapeze, Silks, Lyra and Statue. On her free time away from O'Hara Dance Agency, she continues to teach and choreograph all over the U.S. for professional production companies, studios, High Schools and Colleges, directing installs for Celebrity Cruises, adjudication judge, home schools her 9 year old son and helps her husband out with his Jiu Jitsu Studio in Austin, "Lake Travis Jiu Jitsu".
